Murchison Widefield Array
The Murchison Widefield Array (MWA) is a low-frequency radio telescope,
located at the Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory (MRO) in Western
Australia. The MWA has been developed by an international collaboration,
including partners from Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, Canada
and the United States. The telescope is maintained and remotely operated
by a small team based at the Curtin Institute of Radio Astronomy.
Steven Tingay is a Professor of Radio Astronomy at Curtin University and
a Western Australian Premier's Research Fellow. He is the Director of
the Murchison Widefield Array, a precursor SKA (Square Kilometre Array)
